At a very basic level, a chatbot simulates and processes conversations, allowing people to interact with digital devices as if they were communicating with a real person. LegalFundi’s chatbot team is led by Maya and they operate as digital assistants who engage more and more personally with people, in the process gathering information about peoples’ needs.
Maya’s role with her team of mascots, is to guide you through our LegalFlows, asking specific questions, and based on your responses, guiding you down a specific path so that you can resolve your legal problem. We use technology to understand your needs not only in relation to your own context but also in relation to other people with similar queries and concerns. Where there are documents, you will be guided to complete the document and to either download it, send it off for signatures, store it for later or submit it.
We think of chatbots as conversational tools that perform routine tasks efficiently. For more complex tasks beyond our technology, we will be able to refer you to a ‘warm body’ lawyer or paralegal to assist.
