For the majority of people in South Africa, legal support is too expensive and out of reach. Legal Fundi provides free access to advice on the law and legal processes using an Maya, an AI WhatsApp Chatbot that uses minimal data.
Bringing the law to people
Our WhatsApp Chatbot, Maya, provides step-by-step guides to the law, legal processes and documents. It also links people to government and community-based support agencies while helping users understand available support options.
Understandable legal advice
Law is often difficult for people to understand. Maya, the Legal Fundi WhatsApp Chatbot explains the law in plain and simple language, including legal processes so people can understand what actions to take.
